    Artist’s Statement:
    Embrace Circuit is a transformable wearable light sculpture. Meteorite-textured 18K white-gold forms cradle Burmese jadeite and diamonds, and are strung with Burmese red-jade beads, tracing the orbit of Saturn’s ring. At the instant of magnetic contact, the circuit closes and a gentle light appears—the fractured meteor becomes whole. The work translates intimacy into energy—“embrace = charge”—saluting the entwined bodies in Egon Schiele’s paintings while placing love and hope on the same cosmic orbit as the wearer.

    Wearing: Multi-position (neck/back drape, shoulder chain, waist chain); two modules magnetically join to illuminate.

    Artist’s Statement:
    The vibrant colors dance at the edge of the horizon. This piece combines the scattered color zones of Monet’s garden, using white icy jadeite, blue-green toned emeralds, ochre and purple tourmaline, cornflower-toned sapphires, and diamonds, paired with various cutting shapes. It showcases the gentle beauty of flowers and water, light and shadow, between the garden and the canvas. Like the artist’s palette in the painter’s hand, it transitions between the roles of gardener and artist, capturing only a fleeting moment of beauty…

    The artwork “You Are the ‘Starry Sky’ at the End of My World” draws inspiration from the mystique and grandeur of the Arctic polar region. It conveys that amidst adversity and darkness, we can always find the light and hope in life. The Arctic’s long polar nights, despite their coldness, are filled with miracles and hope because of the fleeting auroras and stars.

    The piece incorporates jade, German-cut spessartite garnets, and diamonds. Jade symbolizes emotional warmth and guardianship, while the brilliance of spessartite garnets and diamonds represents the refinement of life through setbacks, ultimately inspiring dazzling radiance. Through this artwork, I aim to express the power of emotions and hope in adversity.
